AI, coding and agents, live online.

Six levels taught live by engineers, in cohorts of 8 or fewer. AI is part of every level, from a first maze-solving on-screen robot to original AI research. New students join every month.

A laptop and a browser are all your child needs. Robotics is taught in person only.

  • 6 levels, Grades 1–12
  • Max 8 per live cohort
  • AI in every level
  • New students join every month

Three programs, six levels.

Each program covers two levels, and each level builds on the last. A level is about 36 weeks of live classes, counted from the month your child starts, not from September.

No one-size-fits-all.

Every student is different. Grade is only a starting point: we place each child by their experience and abilities, so they start where they can succeed.

New to coding in high school?

A high school student with no coding, robotics or tech experience may start at the middle school level, then move up as they're ready.

Already ahead in middle school?

An advanced middle school student may move faster and continue into the high school curriculum.

No experience needed and nothing to study beforehand. After the two free classes, we recommend a starting level.

The level details below use terms students learn in class. Your child doesn't need to know any of them to start.

  • Program an on-screen robot to cross a grid and reach a target, then find and fix its mistakes
  • Discover how AI learns from examples through playful drawing-and-guessing games
  • Watch an AI model make a mistake, and explain in their own words why it happened
  • Learn the first rules of staying safe and kind online

What your child will build

  • A virtual robot programmed to solve a maze on its own
  • An interactive animated story they design and code
  • A drawn and explained “My AI Helper” invention

Creative Coding & First AI Models

Your child moves into full Scratch and trains their first real machine-learning models, going from playing with technology to building things that think. This is the year AI becomes something your child makes.

What your child will learn

  • Train their own AI models to recognize images, sounds, and body poses
  • Collect their own training data, and discover how data quality changes what the AI gets right
  • Build a rule-based chatbot from scratch, and see how a modern AI assistant answers differently
  • Learn the first principles of prompting: give clear instructions, show examples, and set the AI's role
  • Explore fairness, honesty, and privacy in AI with age-appropriate, real-world examples

What your child will build

  • Their own trained AI model for image, sound, or pose recognition
  • A game or app that has an AI model they trained running inside it
  • A working chatbot and a smart image classifier
  • A capstone AI project presented to family

Tools

Python & Their First AI Application

This is the bridge to real, professional programming. Your child moves from drag-and-drop blocks to writing actual Python, the language used by engineers at companies like Google and OpenAI. It is also the year your child stops chatting with AI and starts programming it.

What your child will learn

  • Write real Python programs with variables, loops, functions, lists, and dictionaries
  • Work with real data, build charts, and train a machine-learning classifier with scikit-learn
  • Measure how accurate a model really is, and learn why a high score can still hide a problem
  • Call an AI language model from inside their own Python code and use the result in a program
  • Practice prompt engineering as an engineering skill, with clear instructions, examples, and tests
  • Use APIs to pull real-world data, and use Git and GitHub the way professionals do

What your child will build

  • Their first complete, end-to-end machine-learning project
  • A Python application powered by a real AI model, such as a study helper or a story generator
  • A personal portfolio website
  • A capstone project of their choosing, saved to a class portfolio (published on GitHub once your child is 13, with a parent's OK)

Tools

Python (VS Code and Replit)pandasmatplotlibscikit-learnJupyter and Google ColabAn AI model API through the iLearnAI sandboxGitHub
By year end: Your child writes Python from a blank file, trains a machine-learning model, and has built a working application that calls a real AI model and handles its answers responsibly.
Level 4Usually Grades 7–8 · Ages 12–14 · 60-minute sessions

Full-Scale Programming, Applied AI & First Agents

Your child is treated as an apprentice developer, building full-scale programs and real machine-learning applications while practicing the habits of professional software engineers. This is the year your child builds their first AI agent: a program that reasons, chooses a tool, uses it, and acts.

What your child will learn

  • Write structured programs using object-oriented design and core computer-science algorithms
  • Build complete machine-learning pipelines, including data cleaning, training, and error analysis
  • Create computer-vision and language applications such as face detection, sentiment analysis, and spam filters
  • Build a retrieval system so an AI assistant can answer questions using their own documents and cite where the answer came from
  • Give an AI model real tools to call, such as a calculator, a search function, or a file reader, and watch it reason through a multi-step task
  • Deploy a finished application to the web, and use Git, code review, and testing like a professional team

What your child will build

  • An end-to-end machine-learning web application with a trained model behind it
  • An AI assistant that answers questions from a document set your child chooses
  • A tool-using AI agent that completes a real multi-step task
  • A capstone project with a written evaluation of how well it performs

Tools

PythonJavapandasscikit-learnOpenCVTensorFlow and KerasFlask and FastAPIVector searchAI model APIs with tool callingGitHub
By year end: Your child has shipped a working AI application to the web, understands how an AI agent decides what to do next, and keeps a GitHub repository with real commits, tests, and documentation.

Deep Learning, Production AI & Agent Systems

Equivalent to an advanced AP Computer Science course, blended with genuine AI specialization. Your child works with the same industry-grade frameworks used by professional engineers and researchers, and learns the discipline that separates a demo from a product: measuring whether the AI is actually any good.

What your child will learn

  • Master core data structures and algorithms in both Python and Java
  • Design and train neural networks with TensorFlow and PyTorch, the tools used at Google and Tesla
  • Build and understand transformers and attention, the architecture behind every modern AI assistant

  • Design AI agents that plan, remember, call tools, and recover when a step goes wrong
  • Evaluate AI systems with real test sets, and defend them against prompt injection and misuse
  • Build full-stack applications and deploy real machine-learning models to the cloud

What your child will build

  • Deep-learning models your child designs, trains, and fine-tunes

How live online classes work.

Cameras are on, students speak, and every child writes code in every session while the instructor watches their screen and helps in real time.

The shape of every session

  • Warm-up. One puzzle or prediction question. Every student is participating within the first minute.
  • Live build. The instructor codes on screen while students build the same thing on their own, step by step.
  • Breakout challenge. Students work in pairs or trios in small breakout rooms.
  • Share-out. One or two students screen-share what they made, and the class responds.
  • Exit ticket. A question that tells the instructor who understood the lesson and who needs a follow-up.
Class lengthTwo 60-minute classes a week, at every level
Class sizeMax 8 students, in a steady small group
ScheduleWeekdays 3–9 PM Eastern, plus weekend cohorts
RecordingsEvery session is recorded. Make-up classes always available.
You needA laptop or Chromebook, stable internet and a headset

Progress you can see: a short instructor note after every session, a weekly email showing what your child built, a written progress report every nine weeks, and a live Showcase Night twice a year. Recordings and class materials are shared in a private cohort folder that only enrolled families can open.

How we keep AI safe and age-appropriate.

Your child works with powerful AI systems in class, and we take that responsibility seriously.

  • Students are taught to keep personal information, photos, and identifying documents out of AI systems.
  • AI access is age-gated, filtered, logged, and supervised. Student work is never used to train outside models, and nothing is published without a parent's OK.
  • AI literacy is taught at every level, covering accuracy, bias, privacy, and honest attribution.
  • Academic honesty is taught as a skill. Students must be able to explain every line of code they submit.
  • Instructors are background-checked, sessions are recorded, and every one-on-one help session is scheduled, recorded, and disclosed to parents.
